NEW VISIONS AUTO HAIL DAMAGE REPAIR
Q. What do I need to do to start the hail damage claim process with my insurance company?
A. First off, if you are here, you are on the right track! We will help you through this process and make it and easy one. You should contact your insurance agent first. They will provide you with information on how you can have an insurance adjuster assess the damage to your vehicle. You do not need to get estimates at this time. Your insurance adjuster will provide you with a claim sheet and issue you a check for the amount they believe it will cost to repair your hail damaged vehicle. If the amount of your insurance check does not cover the cost of the repairs by us we will file a supplement with your insurance company.
Q. What is a supplement?
A. In some cases additional communication between us and your insurance company may be necessary for additional repairs left off of your original claim.
Q. Do I even need to file a claim with my Insurance?
A. Hail damage repairs can add up quickly. Depending on the size, number of dents, panels affected and replacement parts (for ex. belt moldings, roof drip moldings etc.) repairs can surpass most deductibles.
Q. I'm not sure if I want to claim the hail damage on my insurance. Will my insurance rates go up?
A. Insurance companies file hail damage under a comprehensive claim not a collision claim. If your insurance rates are raised, they are going to be raised for everyone regardless if you repair your vehicle through your insurance or not. Therefore, you should take full advantage of the premiums you pay by having an experienced paintless dent repair company, like New Visions Auto Dent Removal, repair your vehicle back to its original showroom form.
Q. I am meeting with my adjuster, now what?
A. First, Please make sure your vehicle is clean. A nice fresh wash will go a long way for accurate estimates. Allow the adjuster to inspect the car and write an estimate to repair the damages. This estimate may not be accurate, as it is just an estimate. When you have your car repaired by us, any difference between the amount of the estimate and the final invoice will be resolved between us and the insurance company by means of a supplement.
Q. My insurance company wants me to go to their repair facility. Do I have to?
A. The insurance adjuster may encourage you to have your car repaired by one of their preferred vendors. Remember, it is your choice to have your car repaired by the person or business of your choice. It is unlawful for an insurance company or their representative to require you to have your car repaired by any specific company. Please, do not feel pressured into using one of these companies if you are not comfortable with them.
Q. I had my insurance adjuster look over my vehicle and provide me with a claim number and an estimate, but their estimate is less than the estimate New Visions provided me. What do I do?
A. Don't worry. We will communicate with the insurance company to ensure your repairs are covered for a complete restoration. Insurance adjusters are skilled professionals, but estimating hail repairs is our business. Often times we will notice damages the adjuster overlooked and will work with your insurance company to insure all of your damages are covered. This is why it's important to work with a company, like New Visions, that has the experience of working with insurance companies since 1994.
Q. Do I have to pay for the additional repairs?A. No, your insurance company covers the cost of the supplemental repairs.
Q. My insurance claim sheet for hail damage on my vehicle states one amount for the damage but my check is for another amount, why is there a difference? For example my claim sheet is for $3000 but my check is for $2500.
A. In most cases, the difference would be your insurance deductible. In the above example, the insurance deductible is $500.
Q. I've got my check for my hail damage repair, now what do I do?
A. Give New Visions a call to schedule your appointment. As mentioned previously, often times the check will be for less than the cost of repairs. New Visions Auto Dent Removal will be able to work with your insurance company to ensure all damages are properly repaired.
Q. My hail damage insurance check is made out to me and my lien holder. What do I do?
A. After New Visions removes your hail damage, we will provide your lien holder with a New Visions hail damage repair invoice. On some occasions, they may want to physically inspect your vehicle. Upon inspection or receipt of repairs your lien holder will endorse your insurance check.
Q. How do I pay for my repairs?
A. Most customers pay with a personal check which we will hold until your insurance check is deposited. For more information please refer to the sidebar labeled "Delivery and Payment" to the right.
Q. If I don't repair all the damage, can I receive some of my insurance money back?
A. If you are claiming the damage repairs on your insurance we are required to repair all of the estimated damage on your insurance claim sheet including any supplement if needed.
Q. I received a lower estimate from another company, will you match or beat it?
A. Our company is based on a "quality over quantity" repair approach. Every vehicle is unique and each dent we repair is also unique. Our offer of over 20 years of experience and our free Returning Customer Discount Program backed by our written lifetime guarantee are just a few reasons why our customers consistently return to New Visions for their dent removal service. We have provided thousands of quality precision repairs with thousands of satisfied customers. Let us amaze you by our difference!
Q. I am not turning in an insurance claim and am just shopping around for the lowest estimate can you provide me with a written estimate?
A. Yes, our written estimate is $95 per estimate and is deducted upon completed repairs by our company. Verbal estimates with pictures are free of charge.
Q. Can you repair my hail damaged vehicle at my location and how long will it take?
A. This is determined on a case by case basis. To repair the vehicle at your location the damage must be able to be completed in one day or less. We will also need a covered location with access to electrical outlets. Generally, most hail damage vehicles will require 2-3 days after all insurance claim processes including supplement and insurance approval is completed.
Q. You're a mobile unit, do you come to me for the estimate?
A. First, have your insurance company provide you with their estimate. Then give us a call to schedule your hail damage removal appointment. We look forward to restoring your vehicle.
Q.Do You Repair All Kinds of Vehicles?A. For full hail damage repairs, and any repair taking over a day we currently offer our paintless dent repair services for MOST cars, and small to mid size SUV's.
Our location is currently set up to accommodate vehicles that are approximately 200 inches or shorter. Unfortunately, this excludes most trucks and full size SUV's. As always, if you have any questions please feel free to email a few photos (or video), following our photo tips found here, along with the year, make and model of your vehicle and contact information to dentgeeks@att.net or text them to 972-816-4555 and we will give you a call! Q. Where can I bring my vehicle for an estimate?A. We are a little different as we do not have a physical commercial drive in location.
Throughout the year, we are a mobile unit for the repair process of door dings, minor dents and some minor collision. Although moderate to severe hail damage repairs may not be a candidate for our mobile process, by providing us with the below information we will be able to assist you with information regarding the severity of your damage, estimates and location of repairs. ⁃ The year, make and model of your vehicle(s) ⁃ The city your residence is located in with the two closest major intersections ⁃ An alternate city with the two closest major intersections where your vehicle may be located. For example: work location. ⁃ Contact name and telephone number ⁃ After cleaning your vehicle, a few quick photos (or video) of the damage. For example: a few photos of the hood and any areas that appear larger and/or deeper. |
