That First Dent

We reward ourselves with a new vehicle and like clockwork that first dent happens.  Whether it’s from a shopping cart, another door opening, falling garage shelves or in this case a closing arm bar in a gated community, that feeling of dread engulfs us all.  Now we have to make a decision on what road we will travel.  DFW, there is only one choice when your paint has not been effected, the damage has not run through the edge of a panel and the metal has not been stretched too far.  Paintless Dent Removal by an experienced technician.

There are so many more choices in PDR technicians, these days, in and around our area, not to mention the world.  So now you do not have to agonize over these eye sores any longer.  Contact a Paintless Dent Removal expert, like ourselves, and allow us to eliminate that awful feeling.

This particular dent was located on the passenger side roof rail of a 2015 Honda Pilot.  Reinforced, double walled and virtually inaccessible from the interior side.

So how in the world could we take on this dent?  The answer is simple, advanced glue pulling and tapping with one of the best blending hammers on the market.  Shane Jacks signature Jackhammer.  The glue tabs that were utilized on this removal included a combination of crease and body line gems.  Special thanks to Keco for their ice tabs, Tomco for the rail tabs and Black Plague’s crease tabs.  All above tabs effectively had a mix of superior pulling power and finesse when needed.  Anson PDR out of Arlington, Texas' choice and variety in glue sticks, without sounding like a paid homer spokesman, quite literally towers over any and all other glue products this 21 year old tech has encountered up unto this point.  I needed only one glue stick to complete this removal and yes, this was a complete glue pull removal only.  No traditional tools were employed due to the inaccessible location. It's absolutely mind boggling how far along these new glue pulling tools and accessories have progressed.

Let me tell you folks, there is not a strong enough word in any language to describe the overwhelming satisfaction felt after this removal was complete.

Thank you again, Chuck and Pam from Frisco, for entrusting us to once again prove that Paintless Dent Removal has and will continue to be the only choice on this type of damage for "that first dent".  It was such a blast meeting and talking with you two.  You guys are awesome and thank you so much for the extraordinary, kind review.

One of my all time favorite artist' renditions was Johannes Van Hoytl's “Boy With Apple.”  Only kidding.  "The Grand Budapest Hotel" is a go to comedy favorite of mine and Tanya's.  Actually, Rembrandt's “The Storm on the Sea of Galilee" serves as one of my inner artistic influences along with guitar virtuoso Mr. Steve Vai's piece “For the Love of God."

As always our very best to all and here's to the continuation of Paintless Dent Removal excellence all around the world and most importantly an unequivocal commitment to professional customer service and satisfaction.

This was a career dent.  By that, I mean it took every aspect of our intricate knowledge of how painted metal moves to navigate precisely through each individual area.

We began by systematically applying our advanced tapping and glue pulling methods. This relieved most of the stress or tension from the deeper concaved areas. We then initiated our precise massaging principals with some of the best soft tipped tools on the market. A big thanks to Ultra Dent Tools out of Riverside, California for producing these gems.  We then concluded with our detailed blending of the panel rounding out our techniques that produced a finely tuned finished product.

Many factors made this damage a strong candidate for our advanced methods. Here are a few important key factors to why Tanya and I believed we could put a smile on our clients faces.  Firstly, other than a few scuffs and blemishes, there was no significant paint damage or cracking from the impact.  Secondly, the frame of the door was not affected by the massive impact.  In other words, the door was fully operational before and after our process.  Lastly, none of this damage ran through the outer edges of the panel.

We sincerely enjoy taking on this type of damage several times a year.  Wish it was more but with this form of damage comes a lofty price tag that generally exceeds most deductibles so we savor them while they are with us.

This magnitude of damage removal provides our amazing customers an insight to our abilities and to showcase how far the trajectory and parameters of paintless dent removal (PDR) continues to evolve since my entry into the profession over 21 years ago.  Teaching golf professional to highly skilled PDR technician.  Substantial amount of similarities with common exacting measurable traits.  More than anything, we enjoy the challenge that this type of damage presents.  We were smiling before, during and after the execution of this removal.

No painting, no replacement parts, no body fillers, no misguided myths of dry ice, no suction cups, no plungers, no magnets and no extended down time.  Traditional and advanced paintless dent removal techniques expertly performed.  Satisfaction guaranteed by highly skilled technicians.  What a ride!

A special thank you to Alex and Sandi for allowing us to deliver our professional brand of personalized PDR services and experience.  A remarkable thank you to my dear wife, Tanya, for expertly de-trimming (and re-trimming) the interior door trim and outer molding for complete visibility.  You're one terrific lady my love!   Happy birthday to my unbelievable mother and father.  You two and my big brother are my ultimate inspiration and I love you all so very much.

College football playoffs this year. Awesome! Boomer Sooner!

As always, our very best to all!
