Q. What are the benefits of PDR?
The most important benefit is quality. This method is the closest you can get to the dent never happening in the first place. There is no painting, no grinding, no bondo, no fillers, no primers and no replacement panels are needed because your original factory paint is not disturbed.
Cost is also a major benefit of PDR. Hail damage, door ding and minor dent repairs performed by an experienced technician, in some instances, are typically between one-third to one-half the cost of conventional body shop repairs.
Time savings is yet another advantage. We are a mobile unit, so we come to you after photos are received. Many smaller dents can be removed in less than an hour at your location.
Environmental concerns are another benefit of PDR. Since this process keeps the original factory paint on your vehicle, there is no need for new paint, chemicals, or other toxins that are used extensively in body shops when repairing dents. PDR is environmentally friendly.
Q. Why use New Visions Auto Dent Removal?
New Visions is independently owned and operated. All repairs are completed by Brian D. Mallow, an expert in the field of paintless dent repair. We do not contract out any work.....ever. This ensures that the quality and workmanship are always 100% guaranteed to be done to the highest level of quality.
Q. What type of service should I expect from New Visions Auto Dent Removal?
You can expect amazing quality, prompt service and unmatched customer service. Brian has been providing the service of paintless dent repair since 1994. We welcome any and all questions you may have and would love the opportunity to earn your business and the business of your family and friends.
Q. Are all paintless dent repairs the same?
Simply put, paintless dent repairs are like art: the better the person is holding the brush, their experience, tools, & the time spent ... the better the outcome. Allow Brian to show you the New Visions Auto Dent Removal difference.
Q. Are all dents repairable by paintless dent repair?
The success of paintless dent repair is first determined by the experience of the technician. With New Visions you are getting the best. Secondly, by the depth and location of the damaged area. For example, a large shallow dent is a better candidate than a small sharp dent. Brian will determine the percentage of removal before the repair process is started. Although Brian has been known to perform "miracles" not every dent is a good candidate for our paintless dent repair techniques. We are not in business to make a "quick buck" and we will let you know in advance if we feel like a dent is beyond the capabilities of paintless dent repair.
On rare occasions just "seeing" a deeper dent or damaged area may not be enough to determine if the dent is repairable. Brian may need to "feel" the metal and damaged areas with his tools to determine whether the area is an acceptable candidate and can be removed to a high enough percentage of removal for your expectations and New Visions standards. In these instances, sometimes the damage is repairable and we are able to proceed and in rare instances the damage is considered unrepairable as the metal has been stretched too far for an accurate paintless dent repair. Brian will always consult with you on what is best for your vehicle and the repair.
Q. Why did a body shop tell me paintless repair is bad for my car and will cause problems later?
Bad dent repair can be seen by all. Good dent repair is very hard to see by most, even body shop experts. So when a car with bad paintless dent repair arrives at their shop they remember it. When a good paintless dent repair has been done, they won't even know it has ever been touched.
Q. What does "drilling" mean?
It has become common practice by inexperienced Paintless Dent Repair technicians to save time by first drilling or punching holes in places like door frames, quarter panel jambs, inner wheelhouse panels, etc. to gain access to a dent with their tools. New Visions Auto Dent Removal will always take the extra time to repair a dent without drilling by professionally removing (and reinstalling) any interior trim panels. In the rare event that there is no other way to access a dent except to create a small port, or if you opt for the cost savings of a small port, you will always be advised of this procedure and the choice will be yours. This excludes insurance claims. If a small port is ultimately necessary, New Visions will take the necessary steps to seal the port properly by rust treating the area and installing a proper sized plastic plug for a more factory installed finished look.

Q. Can you come to me for the estimate?
Yes we can. There is a $95 cash charge* to provide an on-site estimate without pictures. We waive this charge for our customers who are able to email or text pictures of the damage by closely following our picture tips (located on our Quick Estimates page) prior to us providing our mobile service. By receiving pictures of the damage we are able to determine detailed factors such as location for access, any necessary de-trimming of interior panels, depth, size and approximate time of repairs. These factors allow Team New Visions to accurately assess the damaged area and provide you with a cost savings estimate. *Once our estimate is provided and repairs are authorized, we will waive this charge if the repairs are able to be completed at the same time and location of the on-site estimate.
Q. I sent pictures of my damage and you provided me with an estimate over the phone. Can this change?
The only time our estimates may change is when the damage in the pictures is significantly different than the actual damage seen on-site. We understand a picture may not capture the exact damage. Our estimates are based on what we can see in a picture and what information we may gather from you after the picture is received. We will always let you know if the price changes before we start your on-site repairs. After we start the repairs the price will not change.
Q. Can you provide me with a written estimate?
Yes, our written estimate is $95 per estimate and is deducted upon completed repairs by our company. Verbal estimates with pictures are free of charge.
