Guidelines for Third Party Repairs
If you are responsible for damage to a vehicle that you do not own, below are the policy procedure guidelines on how to proceed with New Visions Auto Dent Removal for the repairs of the vehicle.
We can provide you with an estimate over the phone for repairs following the same guidelines on our "Quick Estimates" page.
We do require photos of the damage (from you or the owner of the vehicle) prior to any of the steps below.
By receiving photos of the damage we are able to determine detailed factors such as location for access, any necessary de-trimming (for ex. tail lamps, fender skirts, interior door panels, headliners etc.) depth, size and approximate time of repairs. These factors allow Team New Visions to accurately assess the damaged area and provide a cost savings estimate.
Please be aware that the only time our estimates may change is when the damage in the photos is significantly different than the actual damage seen on-site. We understand a photo may not capture the exact damage. Our estimates are based on what we can see in photos and what information we may gather from you and the owner after the photos are received.
By closely following our photo tips on our Quick Estimates page you are able to drastically reduce the occurrence in which our estimate provided on site would be different from the estimate provided over the phone. We will always let the owner of the vehicle know if the price changes before we start the on-site repairs. After we start the repairs the price will not change.
We will provide you with the information regarding the repairs including a verbal estimate. If you are in need of a written estimate our written estimates are $95 per estimate and is deducted upon completed repairs by our company. Verbal estimates with photos are free of charge.
When you are ready to move forward with the repairs we will ask that you provide the owner of the vehicle with our company information.
Once they contact us, we will speak with them and provide them with the same information that we provided to you.
We will notify them of our expectations of the repair along with any percent of removal that there may be. They must be 100% in agreement of our expectations.
Please take note that we are a paintless dent repair company. We do not paint vehicles. When paint has been affected, we will notify the owner of the vehicle that we are unable to guarantee or warranty the paint.
The owner of the vehicle must choose to hire us for the repairs.
At this time, the third party repair becomes a two party repair between us, New Visions Auto Dent Removal, and the owner of the vehicle.
We will schedule the repairs with the owner of the vehicle at the owners location.
We require payment to come from the owner of the vehicle. (For Example: You are responsible for providing payment to the owner of the vehicle prior to the repairs and the owner will provide payment to us once repairs are completed.)
We will accept cash, check or credit card from the owner of the vehicle.
For payments by check, the check must be from the owner of the vehicle (For example: The owners name and address must be printed on the check).
For credit card transactions, we only accept swiped transactions on site. The credit card must be in the name of the owner.
These above guidelines are for any instance in which you do not own the vehicle in need of repairs. For example: Neighbors car, Rental car, etc.
